About Us

We are the Dugan's from Leonardville. We farm, collect antique tractors, E-Bay tractor parts, watching our girls grow like broadleaf weeds without 2-4-d ever having been applied. Our summers are filled with softball, tractor shows, tractor auctions - do you see a theme - We Are BUSY! I try to update as much as I can but there are just sometimes -well - I am busy. Welcome to a little glimpse of our world.

Softball started - I am just late

So our softball season finally began with our first game in Clay Center on a Thursday evening. It was beautiful outside and perfect for the first games of the season.

What made this game so fun for us was that DD #1 was playing against some of her team mates she had played with on the CC B's. Wonderful year of softball - loved some things - hate a lot of things. Hence - we didn't go back.

Anyways - Izzy pitched her first JV game in over 2 years. She did wonderful, she felt wonderful, had huge big smiles, and loved loved loved it! We lost the first game after only 5 innings ( don't ask me why - i don't know) by 1 point and the second game we won 21 to 7. I felt really bad for the CC pitcher because she was wore out! We love that little gal and her family and I hope that her arm recovers! It is a tough thing for a pitcher to stand out there and pitch a game when you are down and behind so far and get no back up from the "team" players. I know.

and so here is a pic -

The next night we played Abilene! We knew they were tough - because we have played them previously in traveling softball adventures. Needless to say - we were spanked. Izzy pitched some of the 2nd game of the night then also. She did fine - the girls just couldn't seem get the pitching going. They stood strong and tall and held their heads high - it was a very quiet bus ride home - or so I heard.
