About Us

We are the Dugan's from Leonardville. We farm, collect antique tractors, E-Bay tractor parts, watching our girls grow like broadleaf weeds without 2-4-d ever having been applied. Our summers are filled with softball, tractor shows, tractor auctions - do you see a theme - We Are BUSY! I try to update as much as I can but there are just sometimes -well - I am busy. Welcome to a little glimpse of our world.

What's Happenin with the Dugan's?

The past two weeks have been filled with lots of softball, volleyball, a golf tournament, planting beans, more softball with rain, and work and anniversaries.

Our team made a group decision to forgo a tournament to help raise money at a golf tournament for a father of a fellow school softball player. I forgot the SPF 80 and Pedro and I now look like Bozo the clown! Yeah for us! - NOT!

I took Pedro to Softball in Abilene Monday night and 25 mins into the game - lightning, thunder, and a rain storm moved in. No rain delay there.

Izzy has softball practice and pitching practice in the mornings when the field conditions are OK to be on the field. Love you Coach Al for all of the time and effort you put in! We can never say Thank You enough!

Last night was Volleyball for Izzy in Manhappiness -this is happening every Tues night. I have pics - but with the weather being so bad I just haven't had time to download them.

Yesterday was the 30th anniversary of me being diagnosed with Diabetes. Wow - is all I can say. I showed them maybe?

Thurs is my Birthday. Birthdays used to be a big deal to me - but then my husband decided birthdays aren't a big deal and my birthday got forgotten my family members - esp on Father's day - so I give up - no more birthdays and I wallow in Self Pity. Suck it up Beth! Just another day. Oh wait - no it isn't - Pedro has a game in Riley and I am working Concession stand and have to bring drinks an snacks! Guess I know what I am doing today over lunch hour.

On another fun note - with all of the storms through Manhattan we have lost more trees and limbs here at AIB, some people had their houses hit by lightnin, some people are still without electricity - and every day I have walked into an office that starts out at 78 degrees and works its way to 83 and then finally cools down about noontime. Can we say limp noodles - not to mention what it Doesn't do for our hair!

Izzy is supposed to play in a tournament in Emporia this weekend but there are parents ane kids that don't want to play since it is Father's day. As Charles says - it is just another day - and nothing makes me happier than being with them any weekend - not just holidays - seeing them play and do what they love!

Next Tuesday is Charles' Birthday - nothing special planned - we will be in Manhattan again for Volleyball! Maybe I can sneak him out to La Fiesta for a Margarita!
